What makes Stillpoint different?

At Stillpoint Medical, your care is led by a physician who understands the intricacies of complex medical conditions as well as the benefits of centuries old eastern practices.

What does the treatment process look like?

Every new patient begins with an extensive consultation to include an in-depth history and physical as well as customized initial treatment. You can expect this first appointment to last 60-90 minutes. From there, each follow up session will range from 45-60 mins. Every individual’s treatment plan will be unique. You are encouraged to bring previous medical documentation, to include labs/imaging, for Dr. George to review. When was the last time you had an appointment that was more than 20 minutes with a medical professional?

When can I expect results?

Depending on how chronic in nature your presenting problem is, it may take several sessions for you to notice a difference, however most people find benefit even after the first session! For acute conditions, immediate relief is usually found! For best results, it is important to stay consistent.

Why don’t you take insurance?

The reality is our health care system is broken. Health care is currently being dictated by reimbursement rates and patient satisfaction scores. I firmly believe that YOU should be in control of your health, not insurance companies or hospital board members. At the present time we do not take insurance however we will provide a superbill/receipt for you to submit for reimbursement.

At the present time, we cannot provide services for active-duty service members or their beneficiaries. You are able to schedule an appointment for acupuncture services only with Dr. George at her local MTF.

What are your prices?

Initial consultation is $275; this covers an in-depth history and physical as well as a brief treatment. An in-depth review and analysis of previous blood work/imaging is also available for additional $150. After your initial consult, I will create a treatment plan built for your needs. We believe in price transparency, however since treatments are highly individualized it is difficult to set a rate for follow up sessions. In general, you can expect $175-$250 for follow up sessions. It is our goal that you leave your first appointment with a good understanding of the treatment plan and overall costs to expect.

What is your typical availability?

Dr. George will start officially start seeing patients in 2026. Availability is limited to evenings and weekends. She will be available by appointment only. For now, appointments can be made through email medicalstillpoint@gmail.com
